Tucson real estate : As of November 2011 active lots and land was 1,868, a 1% decrease from November 2010.  There were 16 closings in November 2011, 20% below November 2010. Months of Inventory was 116.8, up from 94.0 in November 2010. Median price of sold lots and land properties was $67,000 for the month of November 2011, down 21% from November 2010. There were 34 new lots and land properties under contract in November 2011, up 21% from November 2010.

Tucson real estate : Pima Canyon home sells for $2,325,000

Tucson real estate : 2304 Sentry Ridge Court , located in Pima Canyon (Catalina Foothills) closed today for $2,325,000 ($300/sqft). The 7,738 sqft home was a short sale and sold for $75,000 above the last asking price.  The home was first placed on the market on 1/10 for $4,950,000. Thus far, this is the 4th home in the Tucson area to sell above $2million in 2011.

Tucson real estate : Luxury housing report November 2011

Tucson real estate : As of November 2011 active luxury inventory was 252, a 21% decrease from November 2010. There were 9 luxury closings in November 2011, 13% above November 2010. Luxury months of Inventory was 28.0, down from 39.8 in November 2010. Median price of luxury sold homes was $1,250,000 for the month of November 2011, up 23% from November 2010. The Luxury market had 13 new luxury properties under contract in November 2011, down 24% from November 2010.

Tucson real estate : Oro Valley November 2011 housing report

Tucson real estate: As of November 2011 active inventory was 357, a 26% decrease from November 2010. There were 50 closings in November 2011, up 28% since November 2010. Months of Inventory was 7.1, down from 12.4 in November 2010. Median price of sold homes was $234,750 for the month of November 2011, up 8% from November 2010. Oro Valley had 76 new properties under contract in November 2011, up 105% from November 2010.

Tucson real estate : As of November 2011 active inventory was 548, a 26% decrease from  November 2010.  There were 68 closings in November 2011, 36% above November 2010. Months of Inventory was 8.1, down from 14.8 in November 2010. Median price of sold homes was $282,500 for the month of November 2011, down 25% from November 2010. The North area had 82 new properties under contract in November 2011, up 9% from November 2010.

Tucson real estate : Foreclosure notices decline again in November 2011

Tucson real estate : Pima County foreclosure notices continued to decline in November 2011, compared to the same time last year. In November 2011, 754 borrowers received notices their loans were in default and their properties had been scheduled for auction. In November 2010, 829 notices were issued. In October 2011, 816 notices were issued.

In 2011, the total number of foreclosure notices issued are expected to be less than the previous two years. In Jan-Nov 2011, 8,797 notices have been issues. In 2010, 11,663 notices were issued.  In 2009, 12,184 notices were issued.
